What TubePack does

TubePack helps you download YouTube transcripts, comments, and thumbnails, and bookmark videos, from the YouTube watch page. Purchase is a one-time $9.99 lifetime license — no account is required to buy.

Data we collect

• Payment email — the address you enter at Stripe checkout (optional on our site; Stripe collects email to complete payment). We store it with your license so we can deliver the key and process paid redelivery.
• License records — license key, purchase email, Stripe identifiers (checkout session / customer / payment ids as available), activation timestamp, and bound deviceId.
• Device binding — when you activate, the extension sends your key and a locally generated deviceId (a random UUID in Chrome storage) once. Each lifetime license works on one Chrome profile. After activation succeeds, the extension does not call our servers again for licensing.
• Website content you choose to export — transcripts, comments, and thumbnail URLs from the current YouTube video are fetched to generate downloadable files on your device. We do not build a permanent library of your exports on our servers.
• Bookmarks — saved video metadata is stored in your browser via Chrome local storage. License keys are not included in bookmark backups.

How we use data

We use this data only to provide TubePack’s single purpose: exporting YouTube transcripts, comments, and thumbnails, bookmarking videos, and fulfilling lifetime licenses. We do not sell personal data. Google sign-in is not required to purchase; commerce is Stripe Checkout for a lifetime key.

Payments (Stripe)

Lifetime licenses ($9.99) and key redelivery ($2.99) are processed by Stripe. We receive your email, payment status, and Stripe identifiers. We do not store full card numbers.

Email (Resend)

Purchase and redelivery messages are sent through Resend. We send your license key to the email from checkout. Subsequent requests to email the same key cost $2.99.

Third parties

• Stripe — one-time payments (website)
• Resend — license key email delivery
• YouTube / Google APIs — fetch video metadata and exports you request

Storage

Extension preferences, bookmarks, trial start time, device id, and (after activation) the license are stored locally in Chrome storage. License records for fulfillment live on our servers. Uninstalling the extension removes local extension storage, including bookmarks, but does not cancel your lifetime license. Export bookmarks from Options before uninstalling if you want to keep them. Re-enter your key after reinstall; if device bind fails, contact us. Key redelivery is $2.99.
